Supporting Recovery and Quality of Life.

Manual Therapies
Manual therapies form the foundation of many physiotherapy treatments, drawing on techniques such as massage, stretching, and gentle joint mobilisations. These therapies are designed not only to ease pain but also to improve flexibility, restore healthy movement, and promote overall comfort.
By targeting muscle tension, joint stiffness, and secondary pain, manual therapy helps your animal move freely and with greater confidence.
Whether supporting recovery from injury, managing long-term conditions, or maintaining peak performance, these techniques play a key role in enhancing mobility and quality of life.
Remedial Exercise Programmes
Remedial exercises are a vital part of veterinary physiotherapy, supporting animal’s of all ages, conditions, and activity levels
These carefully tailored exercises do more than just aid recovery. They help to:
Strengthen and condition muscles to support joints and reduce the risk of injury.
Improve balance, coordination, and flexibility, enhancing your dog’s overall movement and confidence.
Boost performance for working and sporting animal’s, ensuring they remain strong, resilient, and capable of meeting the physical demands of their activities.
During our sessions, I will demonstrate each exercise, guide you through safe techniques, and provide a clear, practical plan for you to continue at home.
Electrotherapy
I provide electrotherapy treatment via the use of a Class 3B laser.
Class 3B lasers are a safe, non-invasive treatment used in veterinary physiotherapy to provide pain managment and support healing. The laser delivers light energy into tissues, stimulating cellular activity and improving circulation. This is known as photobiomodulation. Research has shown that laser therapy helps to:
Reduce pain and inflammation (provide analgesic effects)
Accelerate tissue repair (muscle, tendon, ligament, and skin)
Promote recovery after injury or surgery
Support long-term conditions such as arthritis
